According to me, being selfish is loving yourself so little and to be so scared not to be loved by others that you decide to give yourself this love (forced) by any mean without considering the feelings and needs of others.
Self-Love, is to love yourself and others so much that you decide to be with them or to do something with them only if it is out of joy, if you think you can be present to the person (to see, to call, to take care of, to connect with him/her…).
You give the gift of your presence to someone because you know that person also gives the gift to be with you at this very moment.
So who are you, selfish or self-lover?
